Q1: What qualifications would I need to become a school librarian?A: There are no national requirements and schools may ask for a range of experience and skills eg. some schools link the Librarian role with that of Resource Centre Management and others may require a Chartered Librarian. |

responsibility of the postholder whose job description will be specific
to that school.

skills for life areas. GCSEs and adult Numeracy, adult literacy and ICT
qualifications are offered at local Further Education Colleges.
